SEASONAL GREETINGS
from…
MxL
Hi all,
Where has the time gone? It’s already been a year since we
moved into our new premises in Hertford. We are now well and truly ensconced
here.
Yes, we did get the Magna Carta exhibition at the British
Library. It was designed around two of the historical documents and just before
opening, along came another two for us to fit in – which we did. Prince Charles
opened the exhibition. We worked on another royal connection when we produced
the museum in Leicester Cathedral housing the remains of Richard III.
This year we have also toured the country with a travelling
show promoting Virgin Fast Broadband.
Most of the venues being outdoors and in shopping precincts.
As all clients are becoming more cost conscious, we are
often re-using the same exhibition stands in various different formats, keeping
the studio busy coming up with new layouts.
As new Health & Safety rules have come into play, we
have upgraded our “Construction Design Management” Policy. All my guys have now
passed several new courses, such as working at height and first aid. With all
these credentials under our belt we will hopefully be one jump ahead of our competitors
and keep all the job-worthy’s happy.
Big news from us as we come to the end of 2015 – we have
invested in a brand new CNC cutter. This machine cuts and shapes anything that
our design team can throw at it. Gone are the days of doing everything by hand
now – speed is of the essence.
The old team are all
still there with Will in charge, with the help of Gary. Richie handles all the
sales enquiries and runs our MxL Branded Merchandise Solutions side of the
business. If you have a few minutes take a look at our website for further
details on this and our current projects, please visit: www.mxlltd.co.uk
I am now collecting my old age pension and cannot believe
that the country is now paying me for a change! But please take a note – I am
still here, not 24/7 but certainly 23/6….
Wishing you all the best for Christmas and the New Year. Thanks
for supporting us through 2015. Please feel free to call into our offices at
Hertford if you are ever passing.
Thanks,
Bill
